Overview:
Our well-established private outpatient psychiatry practice in Pennsylvania is seeking a Psychiatrist (MD/DO) with an Adult Psychiatry or Child/Adolescent Psychiatry background to provide high-quality, patient-centered care. This Monday Friday role offers no call responsibilities, competitive base salary plus uncapped earning potential, and long-term stability within a supportive, collegial environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychiatric diagnostic assessments, including history-taking, mental status exams, and risk evaluations
- Provide psychopharmacology management and evidence-based psychotherapy tailored to patient needs
- Perform risk assessment and crisis intervention for acute psychiatric concerns
- Develop and regularly review individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and the clinical team
- Coordinate care with primary care providers, therapists, and other specialists for continuity of treatment
- Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR and participate in interdisciplinary case discussions
Qualifications:
- MD or DO with completed ACGME-accredited residency in Psychiatry (Adult or Child/Adolescent)
- Board certified in Psychiatry required
- Current, unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license and unrestricted DEA registration required
- Strong clinical skills in diagnostic assessment, psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, and crisis intervention, with EHR proficiency
- Additional training in psychotherapy modalities (e.g., CBT, psychodynamic therapy) preferred
