Overview:
Our well-established, physician-led occupational health private practice in Bozeman, MT is seeking a Family Practice Physician (MD/DO) to provide comprehensive outpatient primary care with a strong focus on preventive medicine and wellness. This role offers a low-volume, no-call environment, a generous salary, and comprehensive benefits, including a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance.
Position Offers:
- Schedule: Monday Friday, 7:00 AM 4:00 PM, no nights, weekends, or on-call
- Competitive salary: $295,000 annually (DOE)

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide full-spectrum outpatient family medicine care, including chronic disease management and acute care for minor illnesses and injuries
- Conduct preventive health visits, annual physicals, and wellness counseling tailored to individual patient needs
- Perform minor office procedures appropriate to a primary care setting (e.g., lesion removal, joint injections, wound care)
- Document all patient encounters accurately in the electronic health record (EHR) system
- Develop and implement evidence-based care plans, including screening, diagnostics, and follow-up
- Communicate clearly with patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and self-care strategies
- Coordinate care with external specialists and community resources to ensure continuity and quality
- Contribute to practice workflows and quality improvement initiatives to optimize patient experience and outcomes
Qualifications:
- MD or DO with completed Family Medicine residency
- Current, unrestricted Montana medical license (or eligibility) and DEA registration
- Board certified in Family Medicine (or active pursuit if board-eligible)
- Proven outpatient primary care experience with strong EHR proficiency, preventive medicine skills, and patient communication abilities
- Occupational medicine-style evaluation experience and current or willingness to obtain DOT certification preferred
