Nephrology Physician

We are seeking a Nephrology Physicianto join a growing academic healthcare team in Martinsburg, West Virginia. Thisposition offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive nephrology serviceswhile participating in the education and mentorship of medical students,residents, and fellows in a collaborative teaching environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient nephrology care.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic kidney disease, hypertension, electrolyte disorders, and other renal conditions.
• Manage patients requiring dialysis and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams.
• Collaborate with primary care physicians and specialists to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
• Participate in teaching and clinical education for medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Contribute to quality improvement and academic initiatives as appropriate.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree (or foreign equivalent).
• Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency program.
• Completion of an accredited Nephrology fellowship.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Nephrology.
• Eligible for an unrestricted West Virginia medical license.
• Strong commitment to clinical excellence, education, and collaborative patient care.
