Pediatrics Physician

A respected healthcareorganization in Martinsburg is seeking a dedicated PediatricPhysician to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for aphysician passionate about providing comprehensive pediatric care while alsoparticipating in academic and teaching activities.

The successful candidatewill provide full-scope outpatient pediatric services for patients from birththrough young adulthood and will play an active role in educating medicalstudents, residents, and fellows within a collaborative academic environment.

Outpatient and inpatient opportunities are available.

Position Highlights

• Schedule: Monday through Friday
• Hours: 40-hour work week
• Setting: Outpatient only
• Optional inpatient participation available for interested providers
• Faculty role with teaching responsibilities

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope outpatient pediatric care for patients from birth through 24 years of age
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic pediatric conditions
• Conduct preventive care visits, wellness exams, and immunizations
• Manage an average patient volume of approximately 16-18 patients per day
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care

Academic & TeachingResponsibilities

• Participate in the education and mentorship of medical students, residents, and fellows
• Support clinical teaching initiatives within the pediatric program
• Foster a positive and collaborative learning environment

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree (or foreign equivalent)
• Completion of an accredited Pediatric Residency Program
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
• Eligible for or active West Virginia medical license
• DEA registration required by start date
