Family Practice - Without OB Physician

We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine Physician for an ongoing locum opportunity in Mississippi. This assignment offers guaranteed hours, flexible scheduling, and the opportunity to practice in a collaborative Emergency Department utilizing Epic EMR.

Assignment Details

• Ongoing assignment
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Minimum of 5 shifts per month
• No call

Schedule

• Flexible Emergency Department scheduling
• No call

Practice Setting

• Hospital-based Emergency Department
• Epic EMR
• No scribe coverage

Clinical Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients presenting with acute and emergent conditions
• Perform core Emergency Medicine procedures
• Document patient encounters in Epic
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary hospital teams

Requirements

• MD or DO
• Completion of a residency in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine
• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Accepted boards:
• ABEM, ABFM, ABIM
• AOBEM, AOBFM, AOBIM
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Medicine experience
• Active Mississippi medical license
• Mississippi DEA with Schedules II V
• ACLS (AHA only)
• ATLS required
• PALS required
• BLS required (not required for Emergency Medicine board-certified physicians)

Credentialing

• Standard hospital credentialing required

Ideal Candidate

A Board Certified or Board Eligible Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine physician with at least two years of recent Emergency Medicine experience who is seeking a flexible, ongoing assignment with guaranteed hours and a collaborative Emergency Department team.
