Physicians will provide acute emergency care, perform diagnostic evaluations, manage treatment plans, and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams while delivering high-quality patient care in a modern emergency department.
Position Highlights
• Annual ED Volume: 14,000 visits
• Coverage Model: 24 hours physician coverage daily
• 10 Emergency Department beds
• Medium acuity patient population
• Level IV Trauma Center
• EMR: EPIC with Dragon dictation
Schedule & Assignment
• Contract Length: 12 months
• Estimated Start Date: September 2026
• 33.5 physician hours daily coverage
• 17 hours NP/PA coverage daily

Responsibilities
• Evaluate and treat patients presenting with acute and emergent medical conditions
• Perform rapid assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning
• Manage emergency department admissions, discharges, and consults
• Coordinate patient care with specialists and hospital staff
• Document care within EPIC EMR system
• Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans and follow-up care
Qualifications
• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified or Board Eligible preferred
• Specialty accepted: Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine
• If not ABEM certified, must have ACLS, PALS, and ATLS
• Active state medical license required for presentation
• Active DEA required
• 2 years case logs required
Residents may be considered with moonlighting approval.
