Practice Setting

• Inpatient psychiatric facility
• 15 beds available in the department

Schedule

• Monday to Friday dayshift, with optional night call
• Long-term assignment available
• 1:5 ratio of new evaluations to follow-ups

Cases and Procedures

• Assigned and unassigned patient management
• Rounding for approximately 12 patients per shift
• 3 admissions per shift

Requirements

• Board Certified in Psychiatry
• AL licensure required; IMLC not applicable
• Experience with or willingness to work within resident supervision

• Vast experience not necessary; training available
• No trauma certification required
