What You'll Do
  • Lead and supervise a team of three pediatric hospitalists in a hospital setting
  • Oversee newborn nursery care with NICU support from Pediatrix Neonatologists
  • Provide expert pediatric consultations in the Emergency Department for timely assessments and care planning
  • Participate in 24/7 on-call responsibilities, utilizing a round-and-go model from home
  • Perform circumcisions and other common pediatric hospitalist procedures
  • Collaborate closely with neonatologists and pediatric hospitalists to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives and clinical research to enhance care standards
  • Foster a team environment focused on continuous learning and exceptional patient care
What You Need
Required:
  • Medical license in Ohio
  • Board Certification in Pediatrics
  • Minimum of X years of pediatric hospitalist experience
  • Leadership experience preferred

Preferred:
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to participate in CQI initiatives
  • Familiarity with NICU support and newborn nursery care
