- Lead and supervise a team of three pediatric hospitalists in a hospital setting
- Oversee newborn nursery care with NICU support from Pediatrix Neonatologists
- Provide expert pediatric consultations in the Emergency Department for timely assessments and care planning
- Participate in 24/7 on-call responsibilities, utilizing a round-and-go model from home
- Perform circumcisions and other common pediatric hospitalist procedures
- Collaborate closely with neonatologists and pediatric hospitalists to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives and clinical research to enhance care standards
- Foster a team environment focused on continuous learning and exceptional patient care
Required:
- Medical license in Ohio
- Board Certification in Pediatrics
- Minimum of X years of pediatric hospitalist experience
- Leadership experience preferred
Preferred:
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to participate in CQI initiatives
- Familiarity with NICU support and newborn nursery care
