Shift Details:

  • 12-hour solo ED coverage

  • 1 physician + 2 mid-levels (split coverage)

  • Open ICU

  • Facility will accept multiple providers

Patient Volume:

  • Annual ED volume: 32,000

  • Daily: 90-100 patients

  • Physicians typically see 18-20 patients per 12-hour shift

Facility Details:

  • 22-bed facility

  • EMR: Meditech 6.1

  • Physician housing provided in hospital-owned apartments

Requirements:

  • Board Certified in Emergency Medicine - Required

  • Active North Carolina Medical License - Required

  • NC Medicaid & PECOS Enrollment - Required

  • Certifications Required:

    • ABLS

    • ACLS

    • ATLS

    • BLS

    • PALS
