Cardiology Physician

Portneuf Medical Center, part of Ardent Health, is seeking a Board-Certified Cardiologist for locum tenens inpatient call coverage. This is an ongoing assignment with multiple scheduled dates available through early 2026.

Opportunity Highlights

• Patients per Shift: 9 13
• Call Response Time: 20 minutes
• Admissions: 2 5 per 24 hours
• Documentation/EMR: Epic

Schedule

• Multiple blocks of 24-hour call coverage scheduled from October 2025 through January 2026 (with ongoing opportunities beyond).
• Flexible coverage options available; facility will accept multiple providers.

Requirements

• Board Certified in Cardiology (Internal Medicine Cardiology).
• License: Idaho or IMLC-eligible (We will help with licensing!).
• Certs: ACLS and BLS required.
• Credentialing: 90 days (no temp privs).

Required

• Inpatient Cardiology; ICU; Echocardiography.

Preferred

• Outpatient Cardiology; Non-invasive cardiology; TEE; Nuclear cardiolog
