Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified Physician Administrator 3 to provide medical leadership, clinical oversight, and direct patient care services. This position is responsible for overseeing healthcare delivery, developing medical policies, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring high-quality care for individuals receiving healthcare services.
The ideal candidate will have strong clinical expertise, leadership skills, and experience managing complex medical cases while working collaboratively with healthcare professionals.
Job Responsibilities
• Provide medical oversight and leadership for healthcare services.
• Plan, coordinate, and direct delivery of medical care while ensuring compliance with applicable healthcare standards.
• Develop and implement medical policies, procedures, and standards of care.
• Serve as a primary care physician for assigned individuals.
• Conduct comprehensive physical examinations, diagnose medical conditions, and develop treatment plans.
• Monitor patient responses to medications, treatments, and medical interventions.
• Order medications, diagnostic testing, treatments, and specialist referrals as needed.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and clinical records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including nursing staff, healthcare providers, case managers, and support personnel.
• Participate in healthcare committees related to admissions, discharges, infection control, emergency preparedness, medication review, and patient safety.
• Provide medical consultation and guidance for complex healthcare situations.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and ensure delivery of safe, effective patient care.
Required Qualifications
• Active physician license.
• Doctoral Degree in Medicine or related field.
• Healthcare Professional-Level CPR Certification
• Active Physician License
• Board Certification
• DEA Certification
• Proof of Identity Documentation
• Experience providing primary care and managing complex medical conditions.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
