A well-established employer-sponsored primary care clinic in Rock Island, Illinois is seeking a Board-Certified Family Medicine Physician for a short-term locum assignment. This is an excellent opportunity to practice relationship-focused medicine with manageable patient volumes and a strong emphasis on preventive care and wellness.

Position Highlights

• Primary care clinic serving employees and their dependents (ages 3+)
• Average of just patients per day
• Focus on preventative care, chronic disease management, acute visits, wellness screenings, and health coaching
• Solo provider role with remote clinical support available
• Athena EMR
• 2-month assignment beginning August 2026
• Local providers preferred

Schedule

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 7:00 AM 3:00 PM
• Wednesday: 6:00 AM 6:00 PM
• Friday: 6:00 AM 11:00 AM
• Approximately 37 hours per week

Requirements

• MD or DO
• Board-Certified Family Medicine Physician
• Active Illinois medical license
• Active DEA registration
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of physician experience
• Recent primary care experience within the last 2 years
• Comfortable treating acute illnesses, chronic conditions, minor behavioral health concerns, and performing well-woman exams
