What You ll Do:
- Provide expert clinical care for patients with benign hematology and oncology needs
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and tumor board discussions
- Support hospital-based consults and outpatient clinics
- Collaborate with specialists across the Ochsner system
- Engage in research and clinical trials if desired
- Contribute to patient education and care planning
- Utilize advanced cancer treatment protocols in line with MD Anderson standards
What You Need:
- Valid medical license in Louisiana; Board Certified or Eligible in Hematology and Oncology
- Prior experience in hematology and oncology preferred but not mandatory
- Strong clinical judgment and patient-centered approach
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team
