• Schedule: Monday Friday, plus weekends with call (weekend call ratio 2:4)
• Shift: 8:00 AM 4:00 PM
• Hours/Week: Approximately 40 hours

• Licenses/Certs: Active state license, Board Certified in Cardiology, BLS, ACLS
• Experience: Preference for candidates with prior cardiology experience

What You ll Do

• Provide non-invasive cardiology evaluations and management for adult and geriatric patients
• Perform and interpret echocardiograms, transesophageal echocardiograms, EKGs, and treadmill stress tests
• Collaborate with a team of 24 cardiologists in a Level 2 Trauma facility with 600 beds combined
• Manage inpatient and outpatient cases, ensuring quality patient care
• Support weekend call coverage in rotation, providing expert cardiology consultation
• Complete documentation using Oracle/Cerner EMR systems

What You Need
Required:

• Valid state medical license in New Jersey
• Board Certified in Cardiology or eligible
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Experience with echocardiography, TEE, EKG interpretation, stress testing

Preferred:

• Prior experience in a hospital setting with cardiology involvement
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
