Neonatologist Opening Las Vegas, NVLocated in Las Vegas, NevadaFull-Time, Permanent Practice Overview Full-time Neonatologist opportunity in Las Vegas, Nevada Join an established collaborative neonatal team at the state's largest comprehensive children's hospital Practice in a 72-bed Level III NICU with an average daily census of 60 patients Care for high-acuity neonatal patients utilizing advanced therapies including ECMO, inhaled nitric oxide (iNO), high-frequency jet and oscillatory ventilation, and therapeutic hypothermia (total body cooling) Active neonatal transport program with a dedicated resuscitation team Comprehensive pediatric subspecialty and surgical support, including pediatric intensivists, pediatric hospitalists, pediatric emergency physicians, and cardiovascular surgeons Busy congenital heart surgery and neonatal surgery program with high-volume extremely low birth weight (ELBW) patient population Academic affiliation with opportunities to teach residents Collaborative practice focused on evidence-based care and shared clinical guidelines to ensure continuity for patients and families Full-time schedule consists of approximately fifteen 12-hour in-house shifts per month New fellowship graduates are encouraged to apply Compensation & Recruitment Package Starting base salary of $250,000 for newly trained Neonatologists, with higher compensation based on experience Relocation assistance available Recruitment incentives may be available Job Qualifications MD or DO Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatrics Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Fellowship training in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine (completed prior to start) Nevada medical license or eligibility DEA and CSR/CDS registrations required prior to start New fellowship graduates are encouraged to apply J-1 and H-1B visa sponsorship available Benefits Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance Short- and long-term disability coverage 401(k) with employer match Employee stock purchase program Long-term care insurance Health Savings Account (HSA) Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) Identity protection benefits Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Supplemental hospital, accident, and critical illness coverage Community DetailsLas Vegas, Nevada offers an exceptional quality of life with more than 300 days of sunshine each year, world-class dining, entertainment, and endless recreational opportunities.
