Inpatient Child Psychiatrist Opportunity - Kankakee County, IllinoisSeeking a board-certified/board-eligible Child Psychiatrist to join a strong network of more than 150 primary care and specialty physicians and advanced practice providers dedicated to delivering remarkable healthcare experiences in Kankakee County, Illinois.Position Details

• Inpatient child and adolescent psychiatric care
• Full-time direct patient care Äî minimum 40 hours per week
• Comprehensive patient evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment management
• Medical history collection, documentation, and electronic medical record management
• Analysis of test results and examination findings to inform diagnosis and treatment
• Patient and family education on diagnoses, procedures, and prescribed treatments
• Monitoring of patient conditions and reevaluation of treatment plans as needed
• Proficiency in Evaluation and Management (E/M) coding
• On-call participation during weekdays and weekends as required
Qualifications
• MD or DO degree
• Board certified or board eligible in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
• Active or eligible Illinois state medical license
• Active or eligible Illinois Controlled Substances license
