Surgery - General Physician

Opportunity Highlights- Schedule: September 4-7, 2026 (7A-7A); additional weekend coverage needed in May (excluding May 15-18), June (excluding June 5-8), and September (excluding Sept 18-20)
- Job Setting: Inpatient - Novant Health Orthopedic and Sports Medicine - Rowan, Salisbury, NC
- Types of Cases: Call Only - Unassigned Patients; Beeper call with 30-minute response time required. PA takes primary call and will request assistance when surgical need/assistance is needed. Phone consults (few). Preferred surgical skills include: Arthroscopy, Total Joint Replacement (Hip, Knee, Other), Joint Revision/Repair (Shoulder, Hip, Knee, Other), Hand Surgery, Tendon Release/Repair, and Peripheral Nerve Surgery.
- Credentialing: Estimated credentialing timeframe: 90 days. Temporary privileges not available. EMR System: Epic. Malpractice insurance provided by vendor.
- Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified required
- Certifications: BLS required
- Licensure: Active North Carolina license required (IMLC not accepted)
