We are seeking a dedicated and skilled locum physician specializing in Vascular Surgery to cover important shifts at a community hospital in Springfield, Ohio. This facility provides comprehensive inpatient care and is known for its commitment to patient health and quality medical services. The coverage is urgently needed from August 7-10, making this a great opportunity for professionals looking to make an immediate impact.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide post-operative care for all types of vascular patients.
• Perform emergency surgeries on vascular patients as required.
• Take consults and referrals from the Emergency Department and other hospital providers.
• Daily rounding, with responsibilities over a 24-hour call period.
• Utilize Epic for EMR documentation.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Vascular Surgery (REQUIRED).
• Active Ohio medical license (REQUIRED - NO EXCEPTIONS).
• ACLS Certification (REQUIRED).
• Current DEA registration (REQUIRED).
• Clean background with no malpractice or license issues (REQUIRED).
• Availability for specified coverage dates (REQUIRED).

License and Certification Requirements:

• Board Certification in Vascular Surgery.
• Active Medical License in Ohio.
• ACLS Certification.
• DEA Registration.
