Opportunity:
Physician - Psychiatry

Job Details:
• Provide behavioral health services to individual patients across the lifespan in both local and outlying communities
• Part-time or full-time position available with Monday through Friday schedule from 8am-5pm
• No evenings or weekends required
• Practice consists primarily of outpatient services with possibility of rotating schedule for inpatient/ED consults
• Conduct health screenings and comprehensive psychiatric evaluations
• Prescribe, monitor, manage, and evaluate psychopharmacological medications
• Provide integrated mental health services in general health settings
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, clinical social workers, nurse practitioners, and support staff
• Seek consultation and refer patients to other providers when necessary
• Work with other departments and specialties to treat patients with complex medical needs and comorbid mental health concerns
• Pediatric experience and competence preferred though not required
• MD degree with Board Certification or Board Eligibility in psychiatry required
• ABPP certification preferred though not required
• Child/adolescent certification preferred though not required
• Must complete successful credentialing process prior to practice
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and organizational skills required
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities essential
