Surgery - Cardiovascular Physician

HCEPInc is seeking an experienced Cardiothoracic Surgeon to support an established Cardiovascular Service Line in Topeka, Kansas. This opportunity is available due to the retirement of a current surgeon and offers the ability to join a collaborative, high-performing cardiac surgery program with strong APP, CVICU, OR, and perfusion support.

The ideal candidate will be a board-certified or board-eligible Cardiothoracic Surgeon with current experience performing adult cardiac surgery, valve procedures, and complex cardiovascular interventions. Providers with TAVR, TCAR, vascular, and thoracic surgery experience are highly desired.

Schedule: Combination of clinic, OR, rounding, and call coverage

Assignment Duration: 6 Months

Start Date: October 1, 2026

Location: Topeka, KS

Coverage Need: Part-Time Locum Coverage

Weekly compensation: Between $16,199 $16,599 (all-in), with flexibility in how the package is structured based on candidate needs. Compensation may include a combination of taxable wages, per diems (if eligible), and reimbursements.
