- Traditional Family Medicine practice caring for adults and pediatrics
- Monday-Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM
- Average 25 patients per day
- Shared 1:4 call with hospital providers (transitioning to 1:5 later this year)
- Future plan to implement a nocturnist model for overnight admissions and inpatient coverage
- Outpatient Family Medicine in the Rural Health Clinic
- Morning inpatient rounding at the Critical Access Hospital
- Admit and manage your own hospitalized patients
- Assist with newborn nursery coverage as needed
- Care for patients of all ages
- Collaborate with an experienced team including an FNP, General Surgeon, and Pediatrician (position currently being recruited)
- Critical Access Hospital
- Rural Health Clinic located adjacent to the hospital
- Level I Nursery
- Approximately 180 annual deliveries
- Current inpatient census averages 10 patients (maximum census approximately 25)
- Morning hospital rounds typically take 45 minutes
- Meditech EHR used in both the hospital and clinic
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
- Board-eligible physicians must obtain board certification within 6 months of eligibility
- New graduates are welcome to apply
- Visa candidates are welcome
- Georgia medical license preferred to expedite credentialing
- $255,000 Base Salary + Generous Bonus Structure
