Surgery - Vascular Physician

Join us as a Vascular Surgeon at the Wilkes-Barre VA Medical Center located in Wilkes-Barre, PA. This is a locum assignment with the Department of Veterans Affairs. 1099 and W-2 employment options are available:

1099- Higher overall rate of pay in lieu of employee benefits.

W-2- Access to full Monterey Medical employee benefits with lower overall pay rate.

Period of Performance: Base period 12 months (9/30/2026-9/29/2027) w/ four additional 12-month options through 9/29/2031.

Who we are:

What we do:

Monterey teams with general practice, specialists, and allied health practitioners nationwide to provide local coverage for examinees. We deliver a wide range of medical examination-only services to public sectors and the individuals they serve. Our clients include the Department of Veteran Affairs (VA), the Department of Labor, the Department of Defense, and more. Our provider network consists of over 700 providers in various medical specialties and degree types. They conduct diagnostic-only examination services on an as-needed basis. These services may take place in their private office, established clinics located across the country, or during travel opportunities for group screening events.
