Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician

Job Opportunity: Locum OB/GYN Physician in Paducah, KY

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform routine deliveries, including vaginal and low forceps deliveries.
• Make clinical decisions regarding C-sections and manage complicated deliveries.
• Handle VBACs and repair of 3rd and 4th-degree lacerations.
• Maintain patient records using EPIC electronic medical records system.
• Address patient needs during on-call hours, including beeper and in-house calls.
• Collaborate with midwives who manage their own patient deliveries.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (no exceptions for Board Eligible candidates).
• Current Kentucky medical license or active Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Board Certified - American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (REQUIRED)
• Kentucky medical license or active IMLC (REQUIRED)
• BLS certification (REQUIRED)
• DEA certification (REQUIRED)
