Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Associate Veterinarian (DVM) to join a well-established AAHA-accredited companion animal practice in Western New York. This role focuses on providing comprehensive medical, surgical, and preventive care for dogs and cats in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.
The veterinarian will work alongside experienced veterinary professionals while delivering high-quality medicine, performing routine surgeries and dentistry, and building long-term client relationships. Key Responsibilities:Perform comprehensive physical examinations and diagnostic evaluations
Diagnose and treat medical conditions in companion animals
Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
Provide wellness examinations, vaccinations, parasite prevention, and preventive care
Perform routine soft tissue surgeries and dental procedures
Interpret laboratory results, digital radiographs, and other diagnostic studies
Educate pet owners regarding treatment options, preventive care, and home care
Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
Collaborate with veterinary technicians and hospital staff to deliver exceptional patient care
Foster strong client relationships while contributing to a positive team environment
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent)
Active New York Veterinary License or eligibility for licensure
Minimum 2+ years of companion animal clinical experience preferred
Experience performing routine surgery and dentistry preferred
Strong diagnostic, communication, and client relationship skills
Commitment to evidence-based veterinary medicine and continuous learning
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced practice
