Hospitalist Physician
We are seeking a dedicated OB Hospitalist to join our dynamic healthcare team at a leading teaching hospital located in Toledo, Ohio. Our facility is renowned for its advanced maternal health services and boasts a supportive environment that includes a robust team of OB/GYN residents and nursing staff. With a comprehensive set of resources like onsite labs and ultrasound facilities, you'll be well-equipped to provide top-notch care to our patients, consisting predominantly of high-risk pregnancies.
Job Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive care for labor and delivery patients, managing both low-risk and high-risk pregnancies.
- Perform essential labor and delivery procedures, including routine vaginal deliveries and C-sections.
- Collaborate with OB/GYN residents, nursing staff, and midwives to ensure quality care in the labor and delivery unit.
- Conduct obstetric and gynecological procedures as required, including ultrasounds and surgical interventions.
- Maintain accurate documentation using the EPIC EMR system.
- Participate in teaching and training of medical residents in the labor and delivery unit.
- Active Ohio medical license.
- Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Experience managing both low and high-risk pregnancies.
- Proficient in performing necessary obstetric and gynecological procedures.
