Prime Staffing is seeking a qualified provider for an exciting assignment.

Work Details:

• Support staff: Infusion center is staffed by APPs and RNs, some MAs. APPs work through referrals from oncology counterparts - it's autonomous APP work, independent visits, run like a consultative model. APPs drive a lot of work on their own either by primary oncology provider or nurses coming to them with new issues. APP manages urgent care/same day triage patients, adverse reactions, transfers, and direct admissions with ED.

• Procedures: N/A - removing lines preferred

• Amount of coverage needed per month: full time only

• Patients per day: 10-12

• Patient population/age: adults/adolescents

• Department description: outpatient infusion center/cancer acute care clinic

• EMR: epic

• Hospital bed size:

• Skills required: ACLS

• Patient care management of specific disease groups in oncology

• Experience in managing onc patients from diagnosis through treatment

• Oncology inpatient exp required, or a combination of infusion experience with emergency/urgent care centers or critical care

Minimum 2 years experience required

• Facility works directly with inpatient services

Requirements:

• License required:

For PA: CA PA required - must have masters degree in physician assistant studies

For NP: CA license required, MUST have one of the following board certs: ACNP-BC, AGACNP-BC, ACNPC-AG, ACNPC

• DEA: CA DEA Schedule 2 required

• Certifications preferred: OCN or AOCNP, ACLS

OT multiplier 1.4x, Holiday multiplier 1.5x.

Daily OT billable after shift length(10 or 8) and after 40 hours/week
