Provides psychiatric services to patients in the behavioral health network. Treatment is provided through a variety of levels of care. The psychiatrist is the primary provider of psychiatric assessment and intervention and ensures the patient's psychiatric needs are adequately and effectively met.

Job Title: Adult Psychiatrist - Inpatient

Location: York, Pennsylvania

What You?ll Champion:

• Join a well-established group of four experienced psychiatrists, fostering a supportive environment focused on clinical excellence, teamwork, and high-quality patient outcomes.
• Provide inpatient psychiatric care for adults, typically managing a caseload of 13-16 patients
• Participate in all aspects of treatment planning and care delivery working closely with a multidisciplinary team that collaborates with our Advanced practice providers
• Teaching opportunities available with medical students and residents.
• Monday-Friday schedule 8am-4:30pm
• VOLUNTARY Weeknight call (Mon-Thurs) phone calls only and Weekend (Sat & Sun) call onsite
• EPIC electronic health record

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required or
• Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required

Licenses:

• Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or
• Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:

• Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry or the American Osteopathic Board of Psychiatry. Upon Hire Required and
• Completion of a Psychiatry residency and a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. (Not applicable for Adult Programs) Upon Hire Required and
• Must qualify and be a member of the Medical Staff. Upon Hire Required
