Urology Physician

ATC Locums is recruiting a Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible Urologist to provide ongoing inpatient call coverage in beautiful Paducah, Kentucky . This is an excellent opportunity to maintain procedural skills while enjoying a manageable patient volume and the support of an established hospital-based team.

Opportunity Highlights

• Location: Paducah, Kentucky
  
• Practice Setting: Hospital-based inpatient urology with potential outpatient procedures
• Coverage: Ongoing need for 7 10 days of coverage per month
• Schedule: 24-hour in-house call
• Call Volume: Average 2 8 callback hours; call ratio approximately 1:4 1:6
• Patient Volume: Approximately 6 12 patients per day
• Patient Population: Adult

Clinical Responsibilities

• General Urology
• Inpatient call coverage
• Advanced endoscopic procedures
• Ureteroscopy
• Laser procedures (laser certification required)
• ESWL available on Tuesdays
• Opportunity for select outpatient procedures as needed

Practice Support

• EMR: Epic
• Two onsite ambulatory APRNs provide clinic support
• Collaborative hospital-based environment

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Urology
• Active Kentucky medical license or active IMLC eligibility
• DEA required
• ACLS preferred
