Full-Time GI Hospitalist Locums Job in Southwest Florida Starting in August

Jackson and Coker's valued client near Tampa, Florida is seeking GI Inpatient Hospitalist coverage starting in mid August & ongoing. The facility is seeking candidates with easy to credential backgrounds to allow for an expedited credentialing process and will prioritize local candidates to reduce travel costs.

Coverage need:
- Client is still navigating final details/decisions for locums role responsibilities
- Will 100% need inpatient support from 8A-5P Monday - Friday every week (potentially Monday - Sunday)
- 24-hour call coverage (in addition to working a minimum of 8-hrs each day in the hospital) is being discussed and determined soon

August 24-31
September 7-14
September 28-October 5
October 12-19
October 26-November 2
November 30-December 7
December 21-28

Details/Requirements for Assignment :
Active Florida + DEA license required
Seeking candidates that have an Active Board Certification
100% inpatient GI hospitalist coverage need (no outpatient)
Bread & Butter GI coverage, Advanced (ERCP/EUS) can be used but isn't required
Can anticipate seeing an average of 10-15 patients per day
Can anticipate 2-3 procedures/day
Will be covering the ED and doing 100% inpatient work; Will need to do daily patient rounding, emergent procedures + new consults
Will have other local GIs working in the hospital (as well as their designated APP support) simultaneously
Facility is a 475+ bed full service hospital but the hospital is a transfer facility (May receive cases from other smaller facilities within same health system)
Epic EMR (will have to attend a full training if not confident in testing out)
