Shift Details
24-hour call, 7am-7am
Schedule includes daily rounding
In-house and beeper/phone call coverage
Weekend coverage required

Requirements
Board Certified in Vascular Surgery
Active Ohio license
ACLS certification
DEA required
Clean background with no malpractice or license issues
Must be available for assigned coverage dates

Required Procedures / Skills
Post-operative care for all types of vascular patients
Emergency vascular surgery
Taking consults and referrals from the ED and hospital providers

Assignment Details
Inpatient community hospital-based setting
Adult and geriatric patient population
100% inpatient
Average patient volume: 2-4 patients per day, may be higher depending on sign out
EMR: Epic
Temporary privileges available
PAs take after-hours call unless the surgeon directs otherwise
