Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)


Job Details:

  • Level 1 Trauma experience required
  • Contract length of 13 weeks with options to extend
  • Full-time schedule working 4x10 shifts per week, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch
  • Support staff includes CRNAs, Anesthesia Techs, and Anesthesiologists; CRNAs are medically directed at a typical 2:1 or 3:1 ratio
  • Patient volume ranges from 1 to 9 patients daily
  • Patient population spans all age groups excluding neonatal
  • Coverage areas include Orthopedics, Trauma, Vascular, and Neurology; no cardiac cases
  • All providers will be required to work NORA
  • Required skills include intubation, central line placement, arterial line placement, and general line placement; blocks and OB are not required
  • EMR system is EPIC; EPIC experience preferred
  • Practice setting is a hospital Level 1 Trauma Center
  • Board certification through NBCRNA required
  • Active Kentucky state license required; open to licensing assistance
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience required; new graduates will not be considered
  • Recent experience in a large medical center setting required
