OB/GYN Physician Locums Job in Virginia 24-Hour Call September - December With Potential For Ongoing Coverage Assignment

October: 5, 12, 16-18, 22, 26
November: 2, 10, 13-15, 23, 26-27
December: 11, 17, 21, 25-27, 29, 31
Ongoing availability needed

Shift Description
24-hour call
Approximately 20 patients scheduled per day

Requirements
Board Certified
Must be licensed in Virginia
Must be willing to take call, not only provide clinic coverage
Candidates must be able to provide procedure logs during credentialing to meet a minimum of 50 deliveries and 15 of them must be c-sections in the last 12 months
ABOG, BLS, CSR, DEA
Skills/procedures: C-section, vaginal deliveries, suction D&C, ectopic pregnancies, ovarian torsion, abnormal bleeding

Assignment Details
EMR: Epic
Support Staff: OBHG hospitalist, surgical assistants, 3 to 4 nurses each shift
Number of Physicians in practice: 4
Total number of beds: 9 in L&D and 20 postpartum
Temporary privileges available with clean malpractice/background
MFM will handle most high-risk patients
Average call back per 24 hour shift: less than 1, you will receive calls from answering service
