Pay & Benefits:
  • Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00/hr (Note: likely placeholder; salary range $300,000 - $350,000 annually)

What You ll Do:
  • Provide direct inpatient care, including admissions, daily rounds, and discharges
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a wide range of acute and chronic conditions
  • Collaborate with specialists, nurses, respiratory therapists, and ancillary staff
  • Respond to medical emergencies, including codes and rapid responses
  • Perform ventilator management in ICU settings
  • Document all encounters thoroughly and timely in EMR systems (Epic, Paragon)
  • Participate in quality improvement, hospital committees, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Support patient education and discharge planning
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulations

What You Need:
  • Medical License (Vermont preferred, or eligible)
  • MD or DO degree
  • Recent inpatient hospitalist experience
  • Experience with ventilator management and emergency response
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to handle high patient volumes with efficiency
