Inpatient coverage with potential outpatient procedures in a Gastro Hospitalist type roleWeekday coverage only, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with no nights or weekendsFull-time coverage with a minimum of 14 shifts per month requiredGuaranteed 8 hours per day with overtime applicable after 40 hours per weekApproximately 5 patient encounters per shiftMinimum availability of 2 weeks per month if two providers are identified to work a 2-on/2-off scheduleGI Fellowship completion requiredBoard certification requiredActive license or IMLC required; active DEA requiredRequired procedural skills include upper GI endoscopy with biopsy, foreign body removal, and cautery; esophageal dilation and manometry interpretation; small bowel biopsy; lower GI endoscopy; sigmoidoscopy (flexible and rigid); and colonoscopy with biopsy and polyp excisionACLS and BLS certifications requiredOpportunity to perform outpatient procedures if desired; please indicate interest upon presentationPotential consideration for permanent placement if the engagement is a strong mutual fitFacility:
