Neurologist Sarasota, Florida Job Type -Full-Time Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Neurologist to join a growing multidisciplinary memory care and cognitive disorders program in Sarasota, Florida. This opportunity offers physicians the ability to provide advanced, patient-centered care for individuals experiencing Alzheimer s disease, dementia, and other related neurological and cognitive conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with Alzheimer s disease, dementia, and related neurological disorders

• Perform comprehensive neurological and cognitive assessments

• Develop individualized treatment and care management plans

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, caregivers, and support staff to ensure coordinated patient care

• Educate patients and families regarding disease progression, treatment options, and available support resources

• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation

• Participate in clinical research initiatives and integrate research opportunities into patient care when appropriate

• Contribute to the continued growth and development of the memory care program

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree required

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology

• Active and unrestricted Florida medical license or eligibility to obtain Florida licensure

• Experience or strong interest in diagnosing and managing Alzheimer s disease and related cognitive disorders

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills

• Strong commitment to high-quality patient-centered care and professional development

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in memory care, cognitive neurology, or geriatric neurology

• Experience participating in clinical research studies or trials

• Interest in helping expand clinical research and innovative treatment programs

• Passion for collaborative, multidisciplinary patient care
