Emergency Medicine Physician
We are seeking a Board Certified Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine Physician for an ongoing locum opportunity at a busy Level III Trauma Center in Ohio. This assignment offers guaranteed full-time hours, multiple shift options, strong specialty backup, and a collaborative Emergency Department environment.

- 6:30 AM 4:00 PM
- 10:00 AM 9:00 PM
- 11:00 AM 9:00 PM (Wednesday Sunday)
- 3:00 PM 12:00 AM
- 4:00 PM 12:00 AM (Tuesday Sunday)
- 9:00 PM 7:00 AM
Practice Setting
- Hospital-based Emergency Department
- Level III Trauma Center
- Epic EMR
Clinical Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat emergency department patients
- Manage a broad range of acute medical conditions and injuries
- Collaborate with APPs and consulting specialists
- Utilize Epic for clinical documentation

- Approximately 40,000 annual ED visits
- Average of 109 patient encounters per day
- 45 Emergency Department beds, 5 triage rooms
- Approximately 30% admission/observation rate
- Approximately 3.1% transfer rate
- Approximately 33% EMS arrivals
- 37.28 physician coverage hours daily
- 27.57 APP coverage hours daily
Specialty Backup
- Surgery, Neurology, Cardiology, OB/GYN, Orthopedics
Requirements
- MD or DO
- Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine
- Family Medicine and Internal Medicine physicians must have at least 2 years of Emergency Medicine experience
- Active Ohio medical license or IMLC eligibility
- Active DEA
- ABEM physicians must provide proof of prior ATLS completion
- ABFM and ABIM physicians must maintain current ATLS certification
Credentialing
- Approximately 90 days
- No temporary privileges available

A Board Certified Emergency Medicine physician or an experienced Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician with recent Emergency Medicine experience seeking an ongoing assignment in a high-volume Level III Trauma Center with guaranteed hours, flexible scheduling, and strong specialty support.
