Emergency Medicine Physician

Location: New Mexico

Schedule: Ongoing per diem coverage. 12 hour shifts with day and night coverage. Shifts referenced as 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Position Overview

Provide emergency medicine physician coverage in an emergency department setting.

Annual emergency department volume referenced as approximately 9,000.

Trauma designation referenced as Level III.

Charting system: Meditech.

Required Qualifications

MD or DO.

Board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine as accepted by the site.

Active New Mexico medical license.

DEA with New Mexico address and New Mexico controlled substance registration as required.

ACLS, ATLS, and PALS as required by the site.

Recent emergency medicine experience as required by site policy.

Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify.
