Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Outpatient Rehabilitation Full-Time
The Staff Pad is proud to partner with a respected healthcare provider in Helena, MT to find a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA).
As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you'll work alongside licensed Physical Therapists to deliver high-quality, individualized care that restores function, improves quality of life, and supports patients throughout every stage of recovery. In this role, you'll make a meaningful impact while contributing to department operations, quality improvement initiatives, and a team committed to exceptional patient outcomes.

What You'll Do
- Provide physical therapy treatments and therapeutic modalities under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Help patients improve mobility, strength, function, and independence following injury, illness, or disability
- Educate and encourage patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, helping them achieve their highest level of function
- Coordinate, delegate, and support the work of Physical Therapy Technicians
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation, treatment records, and charge entry
- Participate in departmental operations, performance improvement, and quality improvement initiatives
- Support department goals through efficient, cost-conscious practices
- Ensure compliance with infection prevention, safety protocols, equipment training, and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with therapists and interdisciplinary care teams to provide exceptional patient-centered care
What We Are Looking For
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current State Physical Therapist Assistant license
- Current BLS (CPR) certification
- 3+ years of Physical Therapist Assistant experience preferred
- Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-centered care skills

- Outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation with post-operative care
- Adult rehabilitation featuring orthopedic, neurological, oncology, lymphedema, and pelvic health services
- Pediatric rehabilitation in multidisciplinary and aquatic therapy settings
- Sports medicine and orthopedic rehabilitation with access to aquatic therapy and fitness facilities
