Location: Illinois
Schedule: Full time coverage required, minimum 30 hours per week. 8, 10, and 12 hour day shifts available. Typical shift time is 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. No call. Weekends are optional if the provider wants to pick up extra shifts.

Position Overview
Provide CRNA coverage in a medically directed model in a hospital setting supporting a broad surgical and procedural case mix. This assignment requires comfort working with physician supervision as outlined in the order details.

Clinical Scope

Medical direction model with physician supervision

Supervision ratio: approximately 1 physician to 4 CRNAs

MDs are not doing their own cases as outlined in the order details

Case mix may include orthopedics and spine, general surgery, endoscopy, MRI, cath lab coverage, and additional neuro and pediatric cases as outlined in the order details

Number of anesthesia rooms: 8

Charting: iPro and paper anesthesia record

Responsibilities include pre anesthesia assessment, obtaining and verifying consent, discussing anesthetic options and risks with the patient, induction, maintenance, emergence, physiologic monitoring, and clinical interventions as neededRequired Qualifications

Current license as a registered professional nurse

Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education

Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists

Active Illinois license required to presentAdditional Requirements

Provider must reside more than 60 miles from the worksite

Willing to accept candidates needing to obtain a state license: PossiblyCredentialing
