Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Location: Maryland
Schedule: 10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Thursday. No overtime. No call. No weekends. No holidays.

Position Overview
Provide CRNA coverage in a hospital setting in a medically directed care team model. This role requires comfort working with physician anesthesiologist supervision and includes a broad surgical case mix as outlined in the order details.
Clinical Scope
Medical direction model with MD supervision
MD to CRNA ratio: 1 to 2
MDs are doing their own cases as outlined in the order details
Case types include urology, orthopedics, general surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, ENT, pediatrics, vascular, and endoscopy
Site charting system: Epic
Number of anesthesia rooms: 9 (multiple sites within the system; staffing varies by day as outlined in the order details)
Responsibilities include pre anesthesia assessment, obtaining and or verifying patient consent, discussing anesthetic options and risks with the patient, induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia, monitoring of physiologic condition, and performance of clinical intervention as neededRequired Qualifications
Current license as a registered professional nurse
Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
Active Maryland license required to present (candidates needing to obtain a state license may be considered as outlined in the order details)Additional Requirements
