Job description

We have a Full time day shift position open for an MDS Nurse.

Responsibilities:
As the MDS Nurse (RN or LPN), you will be responsible for the timely, accuracy, completing, and transmission of MDS for compliance to CMS guidelines

You will also be responsible for the following duties:

• Utilization Review Coordinator
• Manage the Care Planning process
• Manage certification signed by Medical Director
• Input medical diagnosis using ICD 10 coding
• Obtain and analysis data/reports for QI/QM on CMS site
• Responsible for maximizing reimbursement with assessments and optimizing CMI.
• Work with IDT in completing insurance updates for case management.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid RN / LPN license in the state of practice
• Must have a minimum of (1) year of MDS nursing experience in Long Term Care
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English
