Treatment Nurse (RN or LPN) - DSL Wabasso
Are you a nurse who takes pride in precision, consistency, and resident care excellence? Wabasso Rehabilitation & Wellness Center is seeking a Treatment Nurse to focus on wound care, skin integrity, and other treatment-related tasks that support our residents' healing and well-being.
Position Summary
The Treatment Nurse is responsible for performing wound and skin treatments, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting the nursing team in providing high-quality care. This position is ideal for an LPN or RN who enjoys focused clinical work and values teamwork and resident-centered care.
Responsibilities
Complete all wound and skin treatments per physician orders and facility protocols
Monitor and document wound progress, including staging, measurements, and interventions
Communicate changes in condition to the charge nurse, DON, and provider as appropriate
Maintain wound logs and ensure timely, accurate documentation in the medical record
Participate in weekly skin rounds and collaborate with the wound physician and interdisciplinary team
Assist with other nursing duties as assigned to support overall resident care
Qualifications
Current Minnesota LPN or RN license in good standing
Wound care or treatment experience preferred (training available)
Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
