Location: Louisiana

Schedule: Twelve hour shifts, 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Minimum of 3 shifts per block as referenced.

Position Overview

Provide emergency medicine physician coverage in an emergency department setting.

Annual volume referenced as approximately 22,000.

Trauma level referenced as Level III.

Charting system: Epic.

Required Qualifications

MD or DO.

Residency trained in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine as accepted by the site.

Board certified in an accepted specialty with emergency medicine experience as required by the site.

Active Louisiana medical license.

Louisiana controlled substance registration.

DEA with Louisiana address and required schedules.

ACLS, ATLS, PALS, and BLS.

Case logs for the past two years as required by the site.

Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify.

Credentialing and Onboarding

Privileging timeframe referenced as 45 to 60 days with a clean file.

EMR training and orientation may be required.
