Position Overview

Provide emergency medicine physician coverage in a hospital emergency department.

Annual emergency department volume referenced as approximately 24,000.

Coverage model includes APP support as referenced.

Charting system: Cerner.

Required Qualifications

MD or DO.

Board eligible or board certified in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine as accepted by the site.

Active, unrestricted North Carolina medical license.

DEA with North Carolina address and required schedules.

ACLS, ATLS, and PALS as required by the site.

Case logs for the past two years or activity verification as required by the site.

Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify.

Credentialing and Onboarding

Credentialing timeline varies by site. Estimated timeframe referenced as 61 to 90 days.

Immunization and TB documentation may be required.
