Location: Albuquerque, NM
Facility Type: Specialty Heart Hospital / Acute Care Hospital
Pay Rate: Competitive based on experience + bonus eligible
Shift/Hours: Full-Time, Leadership Schedule (40+ hours as needed)
Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required from an accredited nursing program
• Candidates without a BSN must be actively enrolled in an accredited BSN program with a scheduled completion date
• Current RN license or eligible compact/state nursing license required
• Minimum of 3-5 years of recent CVICU nursing experience required
• Minimum of 2 years of formal nursing leadership experience required (Nurse Manager, Supervisor, Director, etc.)
• Experience managing staff, scheduling, retention, recruitment, and performance management
• Current BLS certification required within 14 days of hire
• Extensive cardiac critical care experience required
• Must be proficient with:
  • ECMO
  • LVAD
  • Open Heart Recovery
  • Impella Devices
  • Intra-Aortic Balloon Pumps (IABP)
• Ability to provide bedside clinical support when needed
• Strong leadership, quality improvement, and operational management experience
• Excellent physician relationship-building and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
• Experience overseeing quality metrics, patient satisfaction, and employee engagement initiatives
• Master's Degree in Nursing or related field preferred
• Clinical specialty certification or nursing administration certification preferred
