Position Overview
Provide emergency department coverage as a Nurse Practitioner.
Practice setting and onboarding requirements are defined by site policy.
Required Qualifications
Nurse Practitioner.
Active, unrestricted Illinois NP license.
Illinois controlled substance registration.
DEA with Illinois address and required schedules.
Board certification through ANCC or AANP or equivalent approved by the Illinois board.
ACLS, ATLS, and PALS.
Collaborative agreement with a physician in good standing as required.
Case logs for the past 24 months as required by the site.
Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify.
Credentialing and Onboarding
Credentialing timeline varies by site. Estimated timeframe referenced as 61 to 90 days.
Immunizations, TB testing, respirator fit testing, and required training modules may be required by the site.
