Emergency and Trauma Physician Assistant

Role: Emergency Department - Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
Location: Huron, SD.
Status: Full-time with 1738 hours per year
Shift: Nights 18:00-08:30

Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to provide triage, medical screening examination, stabilization and treatment for Emergency Department under the supervision of a licensed physician member of the medical staff (5 days a month) and same day sick in the Physicians Clinic. The Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner responsible for the care of each patient, performing only those services allowed by South Dakota law.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited physician assistant program or graduate of an accredited nurse practitioner program.
• Licensed and currently registered as a physician assistant/certified nurse practitioner in the State of South Dakota.
• At least two years of ER experience.
• ACLS, PALS, and ATLS are required.
