  • 11/25 onsight orientation
  • 11/26 - 11/29, ending 11/30 7:00am
  • 12/18 - 12/23, ending 12/24 7:00am

Clinical Details

• EMR System: MediTech
• Practice Settings: Inpatient, Outpatient
• ASC verified Level III Trauma Facility
• Efficient, flexible OR with block time assignments
• Completely digital radiology department
• Well-established, reputable practice
• Call coverage for ED (only has to go in if the ED requests a consult)
• Types of cases include:
  • fractures, sports, general ortho
  • no spine
• General Surgeons manage the wound care clinic
• Sick or complicated patients are shipped
• Rounding
• Admissions
• Typical Call per 24 hours:
  • 0-5 phone consults
  • 1-2 patients seen
  • 0-1 admissions
• Support Staff: Orthopaedic PAs, full surgical staff
• Trauma Level : 3

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible (ABOS)
  • Will not accept NBPAS Board Certification
• Licensed in Michigan or IMLC
• Michigan CDS, Michigan DEA
• Credentialing Timeframe: 30 days
• Preferred items: skilled in total joints and general orthopedics
