Family Practice - Without OB Physician

We are seeking an ABFM-certified Family Medicine physician with at least 2 years of Emergency Department experience. We have an ongoing Emergency Medicine locum opportunity in Texas offering guaranteed hours, flexible scheduling, and strong specialty support.

Assignment Details

• Ongoing assignment beginning October 2026
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• No call
• Flexible day, evening, night, and occasional 12-hour shifts

Practice Setting

• Hospital Emergency Department
• Epic EMR
• APP support available
• Orthopedic, GI, Tele-Neurology, Tele-Nephrology, and Tele-Psychiatry backup

Department Highlights

• Approximately 23,500 annual visits
• 64 patients per day
• 15 ED beds plus 2 Fast Track beds
• Collaborative physician and APP coverage

Requirements

• MD or DO
• ABFM Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Family Medicine residency
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience at facilities with 10,000+ annual visits
• Active Texas license preferred
• ACLS and ATLS required

Credentialing

• Standard hospital onboarding
• Epic proficiency test-out available
• Required orientation and online training modules
• Standard immunization requirements apply
