Litigation Attorney

Location: Orange County, California

Compensation: $200,000-$350,000+ DOE

Annual Performance Bonus + Potential Sign-On Bonus

A highly respected and growing California trial firm is seeking an experienced Senior Litigation Attorney to join its accomplished litigation team.

The firm is open to experienced litigators across several practice areas, including:

• Business & Commercial Litigation

• Complex Civil Litigation

• Labor & Employment Litigation

• Personal Injury & Catastrophic Injury Litigation

• Insurance Coverage & Bad Faith Litigation

• Construction & Real Estate Litigation

This opportunity is ideal for a sophisticated litigator seeking high-level matters, meaningful responsibility, strong litigation resources, and the opportunity to take cases from inception through resolution and trial.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage complex litigation matters from inception through trial and appeal

• Develop and execute strategic case plans

• Handle discovery, depositions, expert witnesses, motion practice, hearings, and trial preparation

• Draft and argue dispositive motions, pleadings, briefs, and other complex legal documents

• Work directly with clients regarding litigation strategy, risk assessment, and settlement negotiations

• Collaborate with partners, attorneys, experts, and clients on sophisticated matters

• Mentor and support junior attorneys as needed

Qualifications

• Active California Bar license required

• 5+ years of litigation experience

• Experience in business, commercial, employment, personal injury, insurance coverage, construction, real estate, or other complex litigation matters

• Strong case management, discovery, deposition, and motion practice experience

• First- or second-chair trial experience strongly preferred

• Exceptional legal writing, oral advocacy, judgment, and client-management skills

• Established law firm experience preferred

• Base Salary: $200,000-$350,000+ DOE
